What you, Selena Gomez & Britney Spears have in common

Life is hard and it comes with some remarkable challenges. Depending on where and when you were born, such as in a third world country or with a silver spoon in your mouth, everyone faces their own set of life's difficulties. Society had taught us to compare our lives with other people's lives and in doing so we end up a little more depressed than before.

The truth is no one path of life is greater, easier or better than the other. Every path requires their own just amount of pain, suffering, tears, joys, and memories that shape our lives. The question is what will we do when life's memories and experiences become too much for the emotional heart to bear?

Britney Spears and Selena Gomez are prime examples of a two fold lesson: 1 life can hurt just as bad if you're a celebrity (just a few more perks that come with celeb status) and 2 if you're having trouble processing the experiences in your life a counselor can help you.

Remember when Britney shaved her head and went from pop princess to pop demon? Yeah we all do. But it was "proof" that life had become a bit too much to handle.  The same with Selena Gomez (not the shaved head thing though) who took a break from her career and received counseling during her break. They are both full steam ahead in their careers again and better than when they retreated.

Everyday people are willingly choosing to submit themselves to counseling. It's a viable option that yields tremendous results. The key is to submit to it. Let the trained professional from the outside looking in give you insight into your life and help. Depending on your willingness some counselors don't have to give you too much help but rather help you sort through your emotions in particular situations.

After a hearty counseling session you can walk away feeling a sense of relief. Literally a different person than before you walked in. If feel you need to talk to a counselor find one by clicking here and take the time to do so. You deserve to enjoy what life has to offer. Just like celebrities and numerous non celebrities who opt for counseling, you can come out of it and begin to enjoy life to the fullest.
